Park City Follies: A Yearly Tradition
Park City Follies is a tradition of poking fun, making light, and laughing at ourselves and all the events, people, places and happenings that make us "local." You'll be in on all the jokes. You might even BE one of the jokes.
“We never know exactly what the show will be about – the creative team likes it to be a surprise for everyone,” said Amber Hansen, Artistic & Producing Director of Egyptian Theatre. The Follies Creative Team continues to outdo themselves with hilarity, spoof, wit, and sarcasm about all things lovingly-considered Park City-isms. It's about people, politics, and community developments. It's about who Park City is and what sets the community apart.
This year’s Park City Follies is a unique show for the Egyptian Theatre. All proceeds from this show will go towards their new expansion right across the street, a black box theatre specifically for Egyptian Theatre’s YouTheatre program.
All public seats at this point have already been sold out. The theatre still has Pharaoh Club seating available – so now is a great time to join the Pharaoh Club to access those front of house seats, as well as the other great benefits that come with the membership.
This year’s theme is “The Last Straw: A Biodegradable Follies.” The show will run April 26 through May 5. Specific times are below:
