Gearing up for the fun-filled Latino Arts Festival on June 16-18? Consider taking public transit as you make your way over to Canyons Village at Park City Mountain and enjoy a live performance before even getting to the festival itself!

As part of our collaborative Art Pianos for All program with Summit County, delight in a live performance from soprano Jasmine Rodriguez and pianist Nicholas Maughan on Saturday, June 17 at 3:30pm at the Kimball Junction Transit Center.

Avoid the hassle of parking, relax with some upbeat tunes, and enjoy the scenery as you arrive at the Cabriolet chair lift.

About the performers:

Jasmine Rodriguez is a Latinx crossover artist from Los Angeles, California. She received a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Chapman University and Master of Music in Musical Theatre and Opera Performance from Arizona State University. Most recently, she covered the role of Michaela in Arizona Opera’s production of Carmen, performed Musetta in Chandler Opera Company’s inaugural performance of La bohème, and covered Marie in Utah Opera’s production of Daughter of the Regiment.

Whether Nicholas Maughan is music directing a production of Rocky Horror at a barn in Kennebunkport, Maine, coaching a high school violinist on the Mendelssohn Concerto, or playing tunes from Wicked with Kristin Chenoweth and the Utah Symphony, he is at a piano doing what he loves: making music with other people. Currently, Nic enjoys working as the full time Company Pianist at Ballet West, where he’s able to incorporate all kinds of musical favorites into his playlist for Company class.
