Deer Valley Music Festival - Utah's Symphony and Opera's Deer Valley Music Festival presents Friday Classical concerts, Saturday Pops concerts, and fully staged operas at Deer Valley Resort Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater. Chamber concerts are held on Wednesdays and Thursday in the more intimate setting of St. Mary's Church.
Eccles Center - In 1998, after tremendous fundraising efforts, the theater opened its doors as the George S. and Dolores Dore Eccles Center for the Performing Arts. The Park City Performing Arts Foundation has filled the center with dance, music, theater, comedy, children's productions and authors every year since then. The Eccles Center is located at 1750 Kearns Boulevard in Park City. Performances start at 7:30 p.m.
Local Summer Concert Series - Frontier Bank and Mountain Town Stages present free concerts at Deer Valley Resort Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater. Picnics and dancing are encouraged, but animals are not permitted.
Mountain Town Music - Produces, fosters and supports live music by programming five outdoor venues throughout Summit County; producing indoor concerts from January to March; including "Music Makers" and "The Cow Ballet;" assisting private clubs, restaurants, and non-profit organizations to program live music; and programming resort stages including the Local Summer Concert Series at Deer Valley Resort Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater and "the world's greatest apres ski party" at The Canyons Resort in March and April.
Park City Film Music Festival - The seventh annual Park City Film Music Festival will be held in Park City and Salt Lake City every January. Awards are given for the Best Use of Music in the categories of Full-Length Feature Film, Documentary Film and Short Film. The 2010 Music Festival will soon be accepting submissions from filmmakers and film composers.
Park City International Music Festival - Utah's oldest classical music festival held in Park City and Salt Lake City. The Festival includes chamber orchestra performances by the Sonolumina Chamber Orchestra, live performances with silent film, and jazz concerts. The Festival's Young Artist Institute provided training for aspiring young artists who have gone on to perform in professional chamber groups and orchestras, teach, and form other chamber music festivals and series.
Park City Jazz Foundation and Festival - Founded in 1997, The Park City Jazz Foundation (PCJF) is a nonprofit organization committed to promoting jazz music through educational, performance, and awareness opportunities, including their signature production of the annual Park City Jazz Festival at Deer Valley Resort Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater.
Saturday Summer Concerts at The Canyons - Zions Resort Bank presents free outdoor concerts by nationally-know perfomers at The Canyons Resort in July and August.
Sundance Institute Film Music Program - Dedicated to enhancing the music of independent film, the Sundance Institute's Film Music Program, led by composer Peter Golub, brings composers together with emerging filmmakers for a two-week lab. At the Film Festival, live music programming at the Music Cafe and panels bring film and music lovers together.
