Park City Professional Artists' Association - A group of Summit County visual artists who promote and encourage professionalism, production, exhibition, education, networking, camaraderie, and the growth of visual arts of our members for the benefit of our community. Click on this link to find a directory of artists and their mediums who are members of PCPAA.
Mountain Town Stages - Enormously successful tool for artists, those looking to book an artist/act and in assisting in MTS musical endeavors. This medium allows MTS to promote their shows more efficiently, increase their patron email base, communicate and contract with musicians, and improve their press relations. The site is where users are able to hire musicians, and where the musicians themselves can find resources.
GALLERIES
Kimball Art Center - Park City's non-profit community art center produces exciting exhibits and activities for all art lovers, including a full-scale education program, popular art events such as the Park City Gallery Stroll, and large scale events such as the Park City Kimball Arts Festival.
Park City Gallery Association - Twenty-five galleries have joined the association and showcase Park City as an art destination promoting the monthly Gallery Stroll events on the last Friday of each month.
EVENTS FEATURING LOCAL ARTISTS
Farmers' Market - Visit the Cabriolet parking lot at The Canyons Resort for fresh local fruits and vegetables, baked goods, arts and crafts. Wednesdays from 2 to 7 pm, from early June through late October.
Kimball Gala and Art Auction - As a kickoff to the Park City Kimball Arts Festival enjoy an exciting live and silent auction of original artwork by renowned local and regional artists with world champion auctioneer Bruce Brock. It's an evening of music, libations, savory delights and premier art.
Park City Kimball Arts Festival - Two hundred and twenty artists, three beer gardens, food booths, three stages with thirty live bands, drawing for one new car, dozens of arts and crafts, and face painting at the Kimball Kids' Corner - all at 7,000 feet, at the longest running arts festival in the West.
Park Silly Sunday Market - A forum for neighbors, friends and visitors to come together to celebrate our community. The open air market is a one-of-a-kind experience - a treasure box full of local and regional arts and crafts, antiques and collectibles, live music and perfmance art. The market is open every Sunday, from 9 am to 3 pm, from mid-June through mid-October, on historic Main Street in Park City. Local artists are encouraged to visit the website to find out how to reserve a booth for the market.
Summit County Fair and Art Show - The annual Summit County Fair is a celebration of the people, culture, talents and hard work of the residents of Summit County and a time to share their triumphs with friends, family and visitors. Residents bring their best quilts, crafts, flowers, produce, animals, and artwork to be part of the celebration. The fair and art show are held in early August every year. Local artists are encouraged to participate in the Fair's art show.
