CULINARY EVENTS
Farmers' Market - Visit the Cabriolet parking lot at The Canyons Resort on Wednesdays from 2 to 7 pm for fresh local fruits and vegetables, baked goods, arts and crafts.
Park City Food and Wine Classic - An annual summer event in which novices and experts alike can sample fine wines from around the world and culinary creations from the region's finest chefs. A percentage of the proceeds from the event benefit the Park City Jazz Foundation. The Classic offers myriad events from educational programs on the pairings of food and wine to the Stroll of Park City, a walking tour of Main Street with designated wine stops along the way. The Classic kicks off on Thursday at Deer Valley and ends with the signature Toast of Park City Grand Testing event on Saturday at The Canyons. Other weekend highlights include food and wine seminars, reserve tasting, Steel Chef Culinary Competition, vintnerr's dinners, live jazz and auctions. Park Silly Sunday Market - You'll find music, street performers, locally-grown fruits and vegetables, gourmet foods, arts and crafts, antiques and collectibles at this premiere open-air market on historic Main Street. The market is open on Sundays from 9 am to 3 pm, from mid-June through mid-October, and is free and open to the public.
Summit County Fair - The annual Summit County Fair is a celebration of the people, culture, talents and hard work of the residents of Summit County and a time to share their triumphs with friends, family and visitors. Residents bring their best quilts, crafts, flowers, fruits and vegetables, animals, and artwork to be part of the celebration. Activities for the whole family include rodeos, parades, grandstand entertainment, culinary delights, and an exhibit of local art. The fair and art show are held in early August each year.
