Enjoy a fun-filled day of art, music, food and activities in beautiful downtown Oakley. It's a day to discover local art. The Park City Summit County Arts Council is hosting the first Summit County Art & Artisan Show and Sale in downtown Oakley in Eastern Summit County.  Local artists in a variety of mediums (paintings, sculptures, woodwork, metal, ceramics, etc.) will exhibit and sell their artwork. Local musicians will perform throughout the day and food, drinks, and kids' activities will provide an atmosphere your whole family can enjoy.

Artists must register by June 30th to participate in the show.

The Kimball Art Center hosts art exhibits year-round in three different galleries that make up the center.  For each exhibit's opening night, the Kimball provides jazz and other musical entertainment to help promote each artist's exhibit.

Main Street is packed with great art galleries, and the best way to see them all is through the monthly Arts and Eats Gallery Strolls, presented by the Kimball Art Center.  Pick up your tickets and a map at the Kimball Art Center, then sample fine art and hors d-oeuvres at more than 25 Old Town galleries and restaurants on the last Friday of each month.

The annual Summit County Fair is a celebration of the people, culture, talents and hard work of the residents of Summit County and a time to share their triumphs with friends, family and visitors.  Residents bring their best quilts, crafts, flowers, produce, animals, and artwork to be part of the celebration.  Activities for the whole family include rodeos, parades, grandstand entertainment, and an exhibit of local fine art and home art.  The fair and art show are held in early August each year.
