Park City, Utah - Public Art for the Marsac Building (City Hall)
Park City Municipal Corporation is pleased to announce a Request for Qualifications to create public artwork for the Marsac Building (City Hall) in Park City, Utah, on either or both of two locations: the south entrance and the west side of the Marsac Building. This competition is open to all artists, working in any media. Artist teams are eligible to apply, including teams of artists from multiple disciplines.
Artists and artist teams interested in the project should submit one (1) copy of each of the following: One page cover letter, artist’s statement about your approach to the project and your team structure, as necessary, relevant experience and/or current resume, work samples (10-15 images on digital files) of recent artwork, work samples narrative page, list of three (3) references, and a self-addressed-stamped-envelope for the return of your materials. Incomplete submittals will not be reviewed.
A minimum of one and a maximum of five artist/artist teams may be selected from among submissions received in Phase 1 to develop a conceptual approach for the project. Finalists who are selected will be paid $1,000 each, or per team, to prepare a proposal in Phase 2. Phase 2 proposals must include: detailed project description, concept drawings or model, project budget, and timeline for project completion.
