Immerse yourself in creative and cultural offerings at the third Latino Arts Festival on Saturday and Sunday, June 16th and 17th from 3-8pm. This year, the event will be held outside at the Park City Library Field (1255 Park Ave.).
Showcasing the talents of the local Latino community, this free, all-ages event celebrates creative expression through fine arts and crafts, folkloric dance, live music, performances, food, and a Sundance film.

Park City Follies, the unique play parodying 'all things Park City' is taking over the Egyptian stage for its 18th season on April 20 - 22 and 24 - 29.
Director, Paul Tan and head writer, Tom Clyde, are joined by a creative team including Rick Klein, Andy Cier, Josh Martin and Terry Moffit. According to Moffit, “We work as a committee. All of us make suggestions, edit, and dream up story lines but Tom does most of the heavy lifting when it comes to the stage play.”

The challenge invited city staffers to come up with innovative ideas for a social equity project that is not currently funded. $50,000 was budgeted to fund the top ideas that will fill a need in the community. There were 13 total proposals submitted to the challenge.
The two winning ideas were presented by Katrina Kmak, Youth & Spanish Services Librarian at the Park City Library. Both proposals focused on literary arts and the latino community.

Sundance Film Festival would not run like a well-oiled machine without a legion of volunteers, many of them local.
Carol Dalton, a Parkite who loves attending the festival, has been volunteering for over 20 years. “Friends were doing it and I've been a fan of independent films since my teens. Ever the rebel, my teenage friends and I saw Clockwork Orange, Deep Throat and Reefer Madness. I was hooked!”
