Kimball Arts Festival, Food Truck Stage at Brew Pub
The Park City Kimball Arts Festival serves as the primary fundraiser for the Kimball Art Center each year. Proceeds from the Festival enable the Kimball Art Center to provide, free of charge, year around art exhibitions, gallery tours, monthly “Art Talks” and to offer art education outreach to teachers, students and our community. Thank you for your patronage and we hope you enjoy yourselves!
“We’re showcasing the most talented artists in their respective fields to bring to our annual Arts Festival and raised the bar on programs like Taste of Art and Festival After Dark. As the largest three-day event in Park City during the summer, we work year-round to come up with innovative ways to create a multi-sensory experience for all of our patrons,” noted Robin Marrouche, Kimball Art Center, Executive Director.
Better Off With The Blues Biography
Formed in 2008, Better Off With the Blues is an acoustic blues band centered in Salt Lake City. Our members include Lou Borgenicht (harmonica, vocals), Harold Carr (standup bass), Jim Poulton (guitar, vocals), and Paul Rasmussen (guitar, mandolin, vocals). Collectively our musical roots are eclectic - we’ve played in jazz, punk, Celtic, rock and roll, jug, bluegrass, old timey and folk bands, but we’ve always returned to the blues. our blues influences are mainly traditional, but contemporary blues players can also get our attention. The band’s repertoire includes blues of Lightnin’ Hopkins, Howlin’ Wolf, Mississippi John Hurt, Mississippi Fred McDowell, Blind Blake, Big Bill Broonzy, Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee, Willie Dixon, Robert Johnson, Blind Willie McTell, Skip James, Sleepy John Estes and Muddy Waters, as well as more contemporary music of Delbert McClinton and Tom Waits. We also play original music by members of the band.
