Kimball Art Center
Join the Kimball Art Center as we welcome a panel to talk about global climate change in conjunction with our exhibit Cold Places: Photographs by Sue Flood. Sue Flood’s photographs of the fragile polar ecosystems present an opportunity to discuss climate change and our stewardship of land, no matter how far. Hear from local experts about the current state of climate change and what effects we can expect to see in Utah as well as what we can do as individuals to reduce our carbon footprint.
Panelists include Brian McInerney from the National Weather Service, Andrea Brunelle from the University of Utah, Hilary Arens the Sustainability Director for Snowbird resort, Celia Peterson the Environmental Sustainability Project Manager for Park City, and a representative from Protect Our Winters.
Moderated by Lara Jones and Billy Palmer, hosts of RadioACTive on Salt Lake community radio station KRCL.
This is a free event but RSVP is required. Please register online or call our Front Desk at 435-649-8882 to reserve your spot!
