Dr. Bob is the longest running rock band in Park City, Utah. Singer-songwriter-guitarist-bandleader Jeffrey D. Howrey played his first gigs in Park City in 1977 while he was attending the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He and band co-founder, singer and bass player Bets Pott (formerly Conner) moved the band to town permanently in 1982. Dr. Bob has played hundreds of gigs throughout the Intermountain West, including multiple appearances at the Utah Arts Festival and the Park City Arts Festival. Dr. Bob has opened concerts for such national acts as the Doobie Brothers, the Ramones, the Romantics, Huey Lewis and the News, Wet Willie, Taj Mahal, Delbert McClinton, and the Rave-Ups. Dr Bob has seven CDs of original music out, including the recently released "Back From the Grave."
