Three lifelong musicians joined forces in the mountains of Utah in the late summer of 2016. Snyderville Electric Band is the mind-blowing result. Their musical style flows out of the intersection of southern rock, classic rock and blues. Think Kings of Leon, Tom Petty, Neil Young and the Allman Brothers plugged in and turned up to seven (okay, sometimes to eleven).
Frontman and guitarist Hal O'Dell transitions seamlessly from smooth emotional vocals to an edgy growl and even to a full-fledged R&B wail. Drummer Dan Lynch uses a lifetime of rock and jazz drumming experience to play it simple, fill it up and do everything in between. Bassist George Dymalski goes way past basic rhythms, delivering fat, driving energetic grooves. But the magic comes from the synergy generated from these three musicians playing as Synderville Electric Band. The vocals, the riffs and every hit on the drums establish the unique sound of this band. A sound that is high energy and dynamic with a soulful, charismatic feel.
Original songs are the foundation of the "Snyderville" sound, with powerful, emotional lyrics and tasty arrangements. Covers are played respecting and celebrating the music of the original artist and not just mimicking it. The result is a set list that has a consistent "Snyderville" style. Besides performing live all over town, the band is busy in the studio. Individual tracks should start to appear on streaming media in April, 2018, with the first full album anticipated to release in June, 2018.
