South Summit Celebration of the Arts

Summit County Public Art Advisory Board, Summit County Library, South Summit School District, and Chinese Railroad Workers Descendants Association host a Celebration of Art, Opening and Dedication for the new public art installation, Yambow, by artist Day Christensen. The event will also include an exhibition of selected works of art presented by the South Summit Beverley Taylor Sorenson Visual Arts Program, Grades K-6, art exhibit opening for “The Tail that Saved the Rail,” a graphic novel produced by the fourth grade art classes of South Summit Beverley Taylor Sorenson Visual Arts Program, and an open exhibition of the traveling exhibit, The Chinese Helped Build the Railroad- The Railroad Helped Build America, presented by Chinese Railroad Workers Descendants Association. The event will be Tuesday, April 16th 5:30-7pm  at the South Summit Services Building.
