This class is all about Spanish flavors. You’ll begin with a cauliflower appetizer and salad of snap peas with romesco sauce & mint. The entree will be a classic Spanish version of "surf and turf," a dish titled Mar y Montaña (sea and mountains) with chicken, Spanish chorizo, shrimp & mussels, piquillo peppers and seasonal vegetables served with saffron rice. Dessert will be a luscious chocolate mousse, served with toasted bread for dipping.
A book club for adults with developmental disabilities. Eat lunch, read books, and share stories with friends at the Park City Library. Next Chapter Book Clubs meet all over the US, Canada, and Europe.

In this dinner, you will make a collection of traditional and modern Spanish-style dishes using seasonal ingredients. As in a tapas bar, dishes you make will be served one at a time on a shared platter for your group to enjoy. Each platter will contain a full portion for each guest, and the dishes you make and serve will collectively form a delicious meal.

Only 7 amusement parks in the United States have older histories than Lagoon – and they are all east of the Mississippi. However, “Lagoon” wasn’t its original name and the park has moved locations once. From big band to opera to horse and auto racing to bowling and wrestling to high diving, Lagoon has hosted a variety of events over the decades — besides its many thrill rides. This lecture will highlight what you probably don’t know about Lagoon’s extensive history.
