Jocelyn Scudder
Executive Director
Jocelyn joined the Arts Council team in August 2017 as the Community Manager and was appointed to Executive Director in 2019. She has worked in the Arts & Culture sector for 20 years, starting out working for fine art galleries in New York City and Connecticut. She discovered her love for nonprofit work through a position at the Lower East Side Printshop in Manhattan where she helped coordinate studio art programs, classes, exhibitions, and residency programs for established and emerging artists. Before joining the Arts Council, Jocelyn managed the Kimball Art Center’s Education Department for 5 years.
Jocelyn is a strong creative professional with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) focused in Fine and Studio Arts from St. Lawrence University. She is a vocal advocate for the arts and is passionate about building connections and supporting creatives and organizations who contribute to our Summit County community.
Originally from the East Coast, she enjoys creating and collecting art, skiing, playing tennis, getting out on the trails, and traveling. Jocelyn lives in Park City, UT. She can be reached at jocelyn@pcscarts.org.

Emma Brake
Events & Accessibility Coordinator
Emma joined the Arts Council team in November 2019 after years of volunteering for local art events. She began as a Project Manager for the Arts Council's pop-up shop BRAND PC and soon after transitioned to a part-time Events & Programs Coordinator role supporting all Arts Council events and programs. Emma's professional background includes hospitality and event planning.
In addition to overseeing events, Emma also oversees the accessibility of our programming. She has completed accessibility trainings including the Breaking Barriers Program provided by the Utah Division of Arte & Museums and Art Access. She has a Bachelor degree in Psychology from the University of Southern Maine and her research studies include art therapy. She is passionate about the positivity art brings to individuals and the community. Originally from "Down East" Maine, Emma enjoys outdoor activities during all seasons here in Park City, UT.

Kendall Kelley
Marketing & Community Relations Manager
Kendall joined the Arts Council team as the Marketing and Community Relations Manager in May 2024. A New Mexican native, Kendall moved to Park City in 2014, bringing with her a degree in Organizational Communications and over two decades of professional experience in the hospitality and marketing industries. Her tenure as Market Director for local media outlet Dishing Park City highlighted her skills in marketing and community engagement. Kendall now channels that expertise into fostering Arts & Culture in Summit County.
Known for her compassion and commitment to creating welcoming spaces, Kendall is dedicated to building lasting relationships and adapting to new challenges. As a new resident of Oakley, she’s excited to make connections and amplify the voices of local artists and creatives across Park City and Summit County.
Outside of work, Kendall embraces the intrepid mountain lifestyle. Whether skiing down hills or snowmobiling up them to get home, biking local trails, or immersing herself in nature, she’s always up for fun. Andrea Zavala
Latino Arts Festival Manager | Community Inclusion & Engagement Coordinator
Andrea joined the Arts Council team in March 2022. Originally from Ecuador, Andrea has lived in Park City since 2004 with her Brazilian husband and 3 kids. She has a degree in Hospitality Management and a food & beverage background—she has worked in family restaurants all her life. When first moving to Park City, she gained hospitality experience at Deer Valley Resort, eventually transitioning to a Sales & Event Coordinator position at 350 Main and The Spur leading events big and small, including events with the Sundance Film Festival.Andrea is known for her organization and communications skills, fast pace work ethic, happiness and calmness, and ability to accomplish any kind of challenge. She speaks Spanish, English and Portuguese, and loves to travel. She also serves on the Park City Library board.
Her latest passion project is Lola Eclectic Market where she features unique and fun clothing and accessories from Latino cultures—a project that grew out of a desire to show Park City what the Latino creative community is made of. She is excited to work with the Arts Council to work on projects like the Latino Arts Festival, ensuring all communities are celebrated and represented through the arts. Claire Wiley
Content & PR Specialist
Growing up in a household with an art professor, Claire developed a love for the arts at a very early age. In fact, she would play hooky from school as often as possible to hang out in the photography dark rooms and art studios where her father worked. Claire also developed a love for journalism, which led to a career in television news. As a broadcast journalist, she refined her interviewing and storytelling skills, earning her an Associated Press award. From there, Claire turned to the world of PR and marketing, helping with brand strategies and creative content.
Now, Claire focuses on creating and sharing compelling stories through film and photography. As a photojournalist, she’s had the opportunity to work in myriad places, such as Southeast Asia, Ethiopia, Kenya and, of course, Park City. Her images have appeared alongside articles for Reuters, USA Today, People, and Golfweek. Claire has also produced and directed documentaries. Her most recent short film is screening across the globe, and has earned awards from festivals in Bozeman, Montana and Singapore.Claire is thrilled to have come full circle back to the arts in March 2022 through her role with the Arts Council. Thea Henney
Grants Coordinator
Theodosia (Thea) joined the Arts Council team in February of 2020 as a grant writing intern to support the Arts Council's organizational development. By March 2020 Thea was thrust into a trial-by-fire barrage of COVID-19 emergency funding grants in response to the pandemic; thankfully, her history as a cater/waiter, factory worker, events coordinator, small press poetry editor, LGBTQIA+ book reviewer, health educator, and instructor of undergraduate literature courses prepared Thea for the unanticipated.
Thea was promoted to their current role at the Arts Council as Public Art Administrator & Grants Coordinator in June 2021. They hold an MFA in Poetry from the University of Minnesota, which imparted an indelible—and frivolous—delight in the use of semicolons and em dashes.Thea is passionately curious about the intersections of sustainability and climate justice with public art, and endeavors always to learn from the people, environments, and artworks she encounters. Marissa Day
Development & Events Specialist
Marissa Day brings over a decade of experience in creative direction, exhibit design, and community programming to her role as Events & Development Specialist at the Arts Council of Park City & Summit County. At the Arts Council, Marissa supports the production of public events and plays a key role in fundraising and donor engagement initiatives, helping to bring people together around Arts & Culture.
Prior to joining the Arts Council, Marissa served as Creative Director at The Leonardo Museum in Salt Lake City, where she led strategy and development for exhibitions, public programs, and educational outreach. She holds a Master’s degree in Narrative Studies from New York University and a B.A. in Russian Language and Literature from Boston University.
Marissa lives in Park City and is actively involved in the nonprofit sphere, including serving on the board of the Swaner EcoCenter, volunteering with Nuzzles & Co., and serving on the Park City Library Board. She can be reached at marissa@pcscarts.org.

Madison Engvall
Communications & Admin Specialist
Madison joined the Arts Council team in October 2025. Born and raised in Park City, she spent four years competing on the U.S. Ski Team before transitioning into a career in marketing and project management. Her professional background includes years of experience, both in-house and at a major agency, where she managed large-scale marketing projects for leading consumer and technology companies.
At the Arts Council, Madison supports marketing initiatives that help share the vibrancy of arts and culture in our community. She works to amplify local opportunities, programs, and events, ensuring residents and visitors stay connected to the creative heartbeat of Summit County.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from Westminster College and is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work at the University of Utah. Madison is deeply rooted in Park City and is grateful to work for an organization that champions the arts and fosters a sense of belonging and culture within the community. Kristiina Stromness
Lead Create PC Gallery Associate
Kristiina joined the Arts Council team as a gallery associate when the CREATE PC Local Arts Collective opened at its Kearns Boulevard location in 2023 after participating in their BRAND PC pop-up shop as a jeweler. She previously has worked in animal welfare as a volunteer specialist and in retail as a buyer and manager. She has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Utah and has attended trade school for jewelry design.
In addition to working at CREATE PC, Kristiina is a silversmith and enamel artist. Her current work is inspired by her favorite stories and everyday objects. She hasn’t met a jewelry technique she hasn’t loved so her work is always evolving.
Kristiina is originally from Salt Lake City and moved to Park City with her husband and pet rabbits in 2022. She loves the community in Park City and her favorite part of working at CREATE PC is meeting all of the artists and learning about their creative process. Jenny Diersen
Public Art Coordinator
Jenny joined the Arts Council team in October of 2025. Jenny is an arts administrator, public art professional, and artist with deep roots in Summit County and Salt Lake Valley. She has worked across nonprofit, municipal, and redevelopment settings to support local artists and communities, manage complex projects, and create meaningful cultural experiences.
After earning a degree in Art Marketing from the University of North Georgia, Jenny moved to Park City, where she spent ten years at the Kimball Art Center as Education Director, developing arts curricula, leading the Young Artist Academy, and creating hundreds of community art classes annually. She then worked for Park City Municipal Corporation for ten years, managing annual events and overseeing the city’s public art collection. Jenny currently works for the South Salt Lake Redevelopment Agency (RDA), where she supports creative businesses, manages community events, and advances community development initiatives.
Alongside her professional work, Jenny maintains an active studio practice as a potter. She served for nine years on the Summit County Public Art Board and currently serves on the Summit County Economic Advisory Board. Jenny lives in a small cabin in Samak with her husband (Mike), dog (Disco), cat (Kchin) and a flock of funny little chickens.
