Utah’s art scene is thriving for emerging and established artists alike. Whether you’re a painter, sculptor, multimedia artist, or interdisciplinary creator, these current calls for artists in Park City and beyond offer ways to exhibit your work, win commissions, and participate in local festivals, galleries, and community projects across Utah. 

  • Monster Drawing Rally

    Park City

    Monster Drawing Rally is a live drawing event and party that allows spectators to spy on the creative process, build relationships with local artists, and grow their art collections.

    Over the course of the afternoon, artists at all stages of their careers take shifts drawing and making artwork for 50 minutes. Sketches turn into finished pieces made from collage, watercolor, acrylic, graphite, and other media. Finished drawings are immediately available for purchase for $50 each.

  • Southeastern Art Show and Market

    Oklahoma

    The 2026 Southeastern Art Show and Market (SEASAM) and SEASAM Youth will be Oct. 2-3 on the Chickasaw Nation Historic Capitol Building grounds in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. The competition art show and market is open to artists from federally recognized Southeastern tribes. The deadline for entry for adults is Aug. 29 and Sept. 18 for youth. Learn more and apply here.

  • A Rich and Holy Legacy

    Sponsored by the Wilford Woodruff Papers Foundation and the Church History Department, is seeking submissions in three categories: ART: 2-D, 3-D, digital, and photography; LITERARY: composition, poetry, and playwrights; PERFORMANCE: theater, dance, cinema, and musical composition.
