Art on the Trails is a program that connects art and nature. In the past it has featured pop-up creative performances, such as hip-hop dance, ballet, Spanish guitar and more, along the McLeod Creek Trail between Copper Moose Farm Stand and Temple Har Shalom in Park City. However, this year due to the impacts and concerns of COVID-19, it’s going to look a little different.
Now accepting fine art submissions for the Summit County Fair Fine Art Exhibit Online. The annual Summit County Fair is always a local event that many look forward to, however this year due to the current state of the COVID-19 pandemic, the fair will look a little different.

Read MorePark City Municipal Corporation (PCMC) is currently requesting proposals for public art for a pedestrian and bicycle tunnel known as the Old Town Transit Center connector. Proposals will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Friday, March 10. “This is one of the final tunnels in City limits to be commissioned for public art,” states Jenny Diersen, PCMC Economic Development and Special Events Program Manager and staff to the Public Art Advisory Board. “We are excited to see what artists propose for the space, and to see this tunnel completed as it provides connectivity between Poison Creek Trail, Deer Valley Drive and the Old Town Transit Center.”

Renee Mox Hall, member of the Park City Singers explains “as a non-audition choir, beginners are welcome and not all members read music. Newer vocalists benefit from singing with those with more experience. All members receive a CD recording of their part which is also very instrumental to learning music. Choir membership is a learning experience for members, a contribution to and connection with the community and an avenue to new friendships."
