Since moving to Park City, White has created Winter Sports-themed artworks for local resorts, businesses, and private homes, which center the experiences and aesthetics of BIPOC skiers and snowboarders. “I have primarily been recognized for my inclusive snow sports related artwork at the ski resorts. More recently I’m expanding my subject matter back to my fashion art roots and other product development.” He was also a selected artist for Park City Mountain Resort’s Sunset on Sunrise Chair Auction, where he partnered with SOS Outreach, a Park City nonprofit that offers mentorship and outdoor learning opportunities for local youths. White’s chair, entitled Soaring, was auctioned off to raise funds for SOS Outreach. “I loved working on the Sunset on Sunrise [Chair Auction]...as it both gives artists an opportunity to contribute to local causes and [offers us] the freedom to create with wide parameters.”

White appreciates the vibrancy of his home and in particular Park City’s visual arts scene. “I enjoy Kimball Arts Center and many of the galleries and the events on Main Street. It’s great to see the pulse of art so alive in our area.” But he says the benefits of Arts & Culture extend beyond enhancing our region’s liveliness. “I believe access to high end art events and experiences elevates Summit County. Creativity is an essential for the wholeness and richness of our community.” However much he loves Utah, White also makes time to visit other places near and far. “I love traveling and learning about various international cultures and regions.”

So what’s next for the artist who already has artworks at most of the major ski resorts in Utah? “I’m creating a collection focused on modern women, various design projects for clients, and a new brand that should launch fairly soon.”
