«Llevo dedicándome al arte desde que era joven. Mi padre me enseñó a dibujar y el resto es historia», afirma Angela Bizon. «Hace poco que he empezado a involucrarme más en mi comunidad con mi arte. Participo en mercados y festivales de arte. Ha sido una experiencia muy enriquecedora y de aprendizaje. Realmente cuento con un maravilloso sistema de apoyo que me ayuda a seguir creciendo y a seguir adelante... Cuanto más participo en eventos y actividades comunitarias, más siento que formo parte de la comunidad. Las personas que he conocido a lo largo del camino me han inspirado y apoyado mucho. He aprendido mucho de mis compañeros, es algo que no tiene precio».

Bizon participated in the 2024 Monster Drawing Rally and was selected to decorate a decommissioned chairlift for the 2025 Sunset on Sunrise Chair Auction. "I am so thankful and honored to have been chosen to participate in the Sunset on Sunrise event. I got paired with an amazing organization, Summit Lands Conservancy. I think these types of events provide an overwhelming opportunity, not only to showcase [the] talents [of local creatives], but to meet…fellow artists and just be a part of something that doesn't come along too often.”

Bizon is all for having more Arts & Culture events in Summit County, both in terms of the benefits to local artists and the delight art lovers feel when they get to take home a completely unique handmade piece of artwork. “I believe there is something special about having something someone made. It takes a long time, practice and dedication to become good at anything. Especially the residents of Summit County, I think people really appreciate and have a desire to have [handmade artwork]. Having these types of artistic events is a wonderful way to incorporate people's talents and cultures with the community.”

If you are looking for Bizon’s work, she will be making rounds on the Summer arts circuit. “My main focus and most popular item by far are my custom painted hats.” She will sell her hats at the Wasatch Back Art Festival and also plans to participate in the 2025 Monster Drawing Rally. “I actually really loved the Art Rally. There are so many different forms of art and some really cool people. It's just a really cool event and I am really excited to see if I can participate again this year!”
