WE BELIEVE ART CONNECTS US

The Arts Council of Park City & Summit County is committed to building community through arts and culture. 

We develop creative programming that showcases the work of local artists and arts organizations. The Arts Council also cultivates creative community engagement, and advances opportunities for pop-up and permanent public art installations. 

By supporting the Arts Council, you create opportunities for arts and culture in our community. Together, we can bring more performances, art activations, culinary arts, and cultural events to Summit County.

Events:  Each year, the Arts Council produces community-wide events like the Latino Arts Festival, Art on the Trails, the Summit Arts Market, Día de los Muertos that celebrate creativity and connection.

Local Artists & Makers: We provide retail and exhibition opportunities through CREATE PC Local Artist Collective and the CREATE PC Holiday Makers Market, helping local artists grow their creative careers.

Art Access: We create inclusive arts experiences that celebrate the diversity of Summit County and ensure creativity is accessible to everyone.

Partnerships: We collaborate with organizations like Kimball Art Center, Artes de México en Utah, and the Park City Gallery Association to produce events such as the Monster Drawing Rally and Art & Music Gallery Strolls.

Calendars & Editorial Content: Through our Arts & Culture event calendar, newsletters, and Art Adventure Guides, we share stories and experiences that connect people to the arts.

Creative Sector Support: The Arts Council uplifts the local creative economy by supporting hundreds of artists, makers, and cultural workers each year.

Public Art:We bring art into public spaces through temporary installations, pop-up activations, and permanent artworks that inspire connection across the community.

Advocacy: We champion policies and initiatives that sustain the creative sector and lead the implementation of Summit County’s cultural plan, Project ABC.

Community: Our work centers on building community through creativity, fostering empathy, innovation, and a strong sense of place.
