Hosted by the Arts Council of Park City & Summit County, this annual event features local art, find everything from handmade pottery to breathtaking acrylic paintings. Not only can you come with friends or family to enjoy the art featured at the market, but you’ll also have the chance to purchase artists’ work and gift it to someone who matters to you—or it can be a present to yourself if you love it that much. 

The CREATE PC Holiday Makers Market is open from Wednesday to Sunday, 12–6 PM, starting on November 21 and running until February 1. What’s even better is that as you attend the local holiday market, you’re also supporting the local arts scene of Park City and Summit County.

From November 27 to January 3rd, Park City’s historic Main Street is transformed into a festive winter wonderland, featuring life-sized snow globes crafted by regional artists. Each snow globe carries its own interpretation of the Christmas spirit, and every story inside is waiting for you to discover.

Park City’s Snow Globe Art Stroll has a unique theme every year, which means you’ll always see something different. What’s even better is that something is hidden within every globe: a single silver snowflake—but will you be able to find them? 

Go on an adventure, whether it’s a date with a loved one or a family outing, to hunt down the silver snowflake in every globe and be inspired by the artists’ ability to capture some Christmas cheer. 

3. Park City Holiday Spectacular at the Egyptian Theatre

The much-awaited Park City Holiday Spectacular and Sing-Along is hosted at the Egyptian Theatre every holiday season. The annual Christmas variety show features song and dance performances, skits of holiday classics performed by a local cast, and a choir-led sing-along for audience participation. The night ends with a visit from none other than Santa Claus himself. 

If you’re looking for the ultimate family-friendly holiday event in Utah, the Park City Holiday Spectacular is where you should be. The show runs from December 12 to 21, with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM and Sundays at 5 PM, and a matinee option on Saturdays at 3 PM. 

Apart from the Holiday Spectacular, the Egyptian Theatre puts on a variety of holiday shows, including Elf The Musical and An Appalachian Christmas from Grammy-winning Maggie O’Connor. 

4. Experience The Nutcracker at BalletNEXT

Whether you’re familiar with The Nutcracker or not, the dance put on by BalletNEXT is a performance you’ll think about long after the curtain falls. Featuring local dancers, this special adaptation of the holiday classic brings a timeless story to life in a close-knit setting. 

BalletNEXT was established in 2011 by one of New York’s most acclaimed dancers, Michele Wiles, a former principal dancer with American Ballet Theatre. Although it originated in New York, the company now creates and showcases stunning performances in the beautiful mountainous region of Park City.

The Park City Treble Makers was founded in 2012 by Anne Collett, who wanted to create an opportunity for female vocalists to use their talents to benefit the local community in Park City. The group’s annual Christmas concerts prove just how much they add to Park City and Summit County. 

Featuring beloved holiday songs explicitly arranged for a cappella performances, the Treble Makers Christmas Concerts promise a sweet time for you and your family.
