DAY 1
Get an early start - 8 am on Saturday, Sept. 16 - to watch the Autumn Aloft Festival Balloon Launch in the North 40 Fields behind Treasure Mountain Middle School on Kearns Blvd. Hike up to the hill to the iconic PC and check out the view overlooking the valley. Walk over for lunch in Prospector - try the World Famous Freshies Lobster rolls, a local Indian favorite - Good Karma, or pizza at Este. Hop on the bus back to Main Street and stroll through the shops and galleries and have locally-made craft beer for happy hour at Wasatch Brew Pub. Call ahead to schedule a Brew Pub tour.
Close out the day with more hot air balloon action at the Candlestick on Main - the balloon baskets light up Main Street at 8 pm. Enjoy dinner on Main Street before or after the event.
DAY 2
Another early start at 8 am on Sunday, Sept. 17 to catch the Autumn Aloft launch in the North Fields. Rent a bike and ride out to Redstone for a craft beer and lunch at Red Rock Brewery. Head to the Kimball Junction Transit Center to see the public art installation there and toss your bike on one of the free buses for a lift back to town.
