COMMUNITy FILM
Sundance Institute -dedicated to the discovery and development of independent artists and audiences. Each January, Park City is home to the Sundance Film Festival which introduces global audiences to groundbreaking work and emerging talent in independent film. More than 90 other public programs connect artists with audiences, inspire new ideas, and create community around independent storytelling.
Park City Film Series -a single screen art house cinema bringing films and film-related events not normally available through commercial outlets to the greater Park City/Summit County community. With a mission to create community through film the Film Series showcases features, documentaries, world and local films nearly every weekend of the year.
Basin Recreation - providing quality parks and recreation experiences year round for Park City residents and visitors. Each summer, Basin Rec rolls out their 20 foot movie screen and fans bring chairs and blankets for family friendly viewing after dark entertainment.
OTHER FILM VENUES
Redstone Theaters - Eight screens playing mainstream movies daily in the heart of the Redstone shopping center at Kimball Junction. Stadium seating, digital projection and sound, and ADA access.
Holiday Village - 4 screens playing movies daily in Park City at 1776 Park Avenue. Stadium seating, digital projection and sound, and ADA access.
