Share drawing techniques and skills in a group setting while working with a model to communicate poses and complete timed sketches. This open-studio session is just $20 per person. *Participants must be at least 18 years of age and bring their own drawing materials.

This is not a typical class, instead, a studio staff member will provide a demonstration at the start of the session in either wheel throwing or hand building techniques. A nominal $45 fee includes enough clay for two completed pieces as well as firing and glazing. This class is for adults ages 17+. All work will be fired and ready for pick up in the Kimball Art Center lobby 7-14 days after your class.

In the following part of our “Introduction to Drawing for Beginners” course, we transition into the captivating realm of perspective and depth. You will begin to understand and apply one-point and two-point perspective, allowing you to create drawings with a heightened sense of dimensionality. Our expert instructor will guide you through the techniques that bring landscapes and interiors to life, emphasizing the importance of spatial accuracy.

Every week Kimball Art Center hosts an art studio time for youth on Park City’s early release day. Each lesson connects the elements and principles of art with an exciting theme. Expect to try new art materials, learn technical skills and explore creative ideas with other art loving youth.

A time to create for budding artists! Mini Artist is carefully designed by Kimball Art Center staff to support growing toddlers and their interest in art making. This class includes meaningful studio time in our Kimball Art Center studios with experiential art activities, exciting and age appropriate gallery tours, play, and sensory experiences.

Potter’s wheel not recommended for children under 8. All work will be fired and ready for pick up in the Kimball Art Center lobby 7-14 days after your class.
