Arts Summit 2020 Cancelled

After much thought and consideration, the Arts Council has decided to cancel our 2020 Arts Summit due to the current state and impacts of COVID-19.

We are working hard to help our Arts and Culture organizations plan for the future, and, in the meantime, work to maintain their visibility, relevance, and service – through online activity, leadership, and consistent communication. Please follow @pcscarts to stay informed on how our amazing local arts organizations are continuing to serve our community, connecting us through the arts when we need it most.

We will be producing a State of the Arts report (to be shared digitally) that highlights the economic impact of arts and culture in our community, and look forward to presenting Arts Summit 2021 next spring. The arts are a vital part of our local economy and we know the arts will not only carry us through these times of uncertainty, but will help us build when we exit this difficult period.

These are trying times, but the arts have always been humanity's solace. Please consider donating to a local arts organization today. Our local arts nonprofits are experiencing seismic impacts due to this pandemic. Your donations will benefit not only organizations, but their artists, employees, vendors, and communities — recycling that dollar at multiple levels throughout our region.

Art connects us. We will pull through this together as a community. Our hearts go out to all those affected.
