Experience art in the mountains over Presidents’ weekend at the new Winter Arts Showcase on Saturday and Sunday, February 15 and 16th from 10am - 5pm at the Park City Community Church.

The Winter Arts Showcase is a new iteration of the long standing Art Elevated show at the Swaner Preserve. The Park City Summit County Arts Council teamed up with the Park City Professional Artists Association to present the new annual show and gathering.  The Winter Arts Showcase is a unique opportunity for visitors and locals to support Utah artists and for arts enthusiasts to come and grow their collections. The two-day event will feature local artists selling beautifully crafted artisanal goods and artwork. See a sampling of art and artists at www.pcscarts.org/winter-arts-showcase.

“The Arts Council is thrilled to continue our partnership with the Park City Professional Artist Association to present the first annual Winter Arts Showcase. This show has replaced our annual Art Elevated event at the Swaner Preserve. Art Elevated was a very successful art show, but our program outgrew the Swaner Preserve exhibition space. Developing Art Elevated into the new Winter Arts Showcase at the Park City Community Church has allowed us to be more inclusive of local artists, growing from representing 20 artists to nearly 30 artists in 2020” said Jocelyn Scudder, Executive Director of the Park City Summit County Arts Council. “We were impressed with the caliber and quality of artists that were juried into the show, and are excited to produce the new Winter Arts Showcase as a platform for our local artists to share their creative talent with locals and visitors, and to sell their work.”

The Winter Arts Showcase features nearly 30 artist booths, selling their creative endeavors including paintings, photographs, books, jewelry, ceramics, fabric, textiles and sculpture. Some of the artists will also perform demonstrations over the two-day event to give people a glimpse into their creative process.

Participating artists include: Abby Ringquist, Amber Moore Barcus, Arthur Coccaro, Barbi Goldsmith , Bill Siliman, Catherine Marchant, Corinne Humphrey, Denise Walz,  Fred Montague, Georgia Haneke, Jennifer Terry, Jessica BoldaKate Wynn, Kim Plavan,  Kody Bundy, Kris Hanaman, Lael Holm, Larry Calof, Len Starbeck, Linda Apte, Lisa Carlson, Melissa Skarsten, Nan Gray, Nichole Nogawski, Richard Pick, Rhonda Hypio , Tom Horton, and Willie Holdman.
