With the crisp and colorful fall leaves that are reappearing to Park City, old throwback films like ‘Aspen Extreme’ and ‘Beetle Juice” return as well. 

Some films are old, but most are new this year. If you are antsy to put your ski boots on, we’ve got some new Ski Premieres that you are not going to want to miss.

This documentary style film takes you through the life of Alvin Ailey, the groundbreaking African American choreographer and how he changed the dance world forever.

BURIED (SEPTEMBER 25, 2021)

Things are about to get chilly in the feature length documentary film based on true events of the 1982 avalanche that surfaced in Alpine Meadows, CA. 

Make sure to grab a seat to this film’s first depute screening in Utah on September 25, 2021, at the Twilight Drive in at the Utah Olympic Park. 

FREESKI FILM TOUR: ARMADA, LEVEL 1, AND GOOD COMPANY (OCTOBER 1, 2021)

Presented by our local friends at Armada, this night will be a selection of the five must-see ski films from this past season.

Professional skiers such as Jake Mageau, Tom Wallisch, Torin Yater-Wallace and Jossi Wells are on the roster for a night full of twists and turns, quite literally.

Before Rosa Parks and RBG, there was Pauli Murray. She was an attorney, activist, and priest who paved the way for race and gender equality by shaping litigation and recognition for all. 

In her first two years of law school, she was the only women in class, and they wouldn’t even let her talk. “If you rip away everything, repression is the business of not respecting one’s personhood.” 

She wasn’t just a life-changing lawyer and bad ass feminist; she was also queer nonbinary person. Watch Pauli’s life unfold and see the wonderful impact Pauli Murray made that shaped the very world we live in today.
