Park City Film Sparks Conversations

Although Sundance has come and gone, film remains prominent in our community year round. From virtual screenings to in person panels, Park City Film looks to entertain and engage patrons  with meaningful films that aim to expand their world view.

In particular, Park City Film’s reel community series showcases films covering significant topics that impact our community and our understanding of one another. This program offers free screenings in collaboration with local non-profits with Q&As or panel discussions after.

Being Park City Film’s longest running community program, this series has continued to grow and expand its reach throughout the community. Some of its previous screenings included Kiss the Ground, a film that explored the history of soil and the concept of “regenerative agriculture” and more recently Citizen Ashe, a film that showcases Arthur Ashe’s professional tennis career and social activism.

As in person events attempt to make a slow and careful return, adding one of these screenings to your potential Thursday night plans guarantees an insightful night. If you’re looking for more ways to enjoy film and support local nonprofits, be sure to check out this program’s upcoming screening:

March 17th, 2022 @7PM: $avvy
