Public Art Meeting // Ledges Event Center
The Arts Council of Park City & Summit County in partnership with the Summit County Public Art Advisory Board invites you to attend the next public art meeting on Tuesday, March 7th at the Ledges Event Center in Coalville from 4 to 6pm. To join virtually click here.
The Summit County Public Art Advisory Board is currently seeking input from local residents in selecting an artist or artist team to create a three-dimensional artwork to be installed on the East exterior of the Ledges Event Center at the Summit County Fairgrounds. The project seeks to create and celebrate a strong sense of place while recognizing the cultural history of Coalville and Eastern Summit County.
The four finalists, Sasha Primo and Romeo Sosa, Don and Cha Cha Weller, Ken McCall, and Antistatics, were selected from twenty-two proposals submitted by artists from around the globe. Final selection will be made at the public art meeting on March 7th.
The Arts Council serves as the administrator of the Summit County Public Art Advisory Board and we support additional public art and creative placemaking projects countywide with the goal of enriching our community. To learn more about our public art efforts click here.
