Spend some time relaxing in the mountains at the annual Summit Arts Showcase Friday, June 18th from 4-8pm and Saturday, June 19th from 10am-5pm. Oakley’s Red Barn, set against the Uintas, is a gorgeous setting for local artists to exhibit their work and for arts enthusiasts to come meet local artists and grow their collections.

Thirty local artists, the majority of which are residents of Summit County, will participate in the exhibit and sale. Their artwork ranges from contemporary to traditional and includes a variety of mediums from acrylic to watercolor to photography, ceramics, fiber arts, and jewelry. Some of the artists will even be doing demonstrations over the two-day event to share their creative process.

Participating artists include: Bill Silliman, Brenna Davison, Cheryl Young, Colter May, David Winegar, Danny & Carie Grigsby, Ecaterina Leonte, Elaine Lee, Elsa Gary, Eric Warner, Hannah Emerson, Heather Joy, Isabella Hill, Jim Sheeran, Joyce Baron, Karlyn Bliss, Kelly Franklin, Lael Holm, Leslie Moss, Mary Perry, Michelle Tidwell, Mitch Bedke, Nan Gray, Richard Pick.

The event will also include live music on Friday night from 5:30 - 7:30pm and Saturday from 12pm - 4pm. Friday kicks off with Ryan Walsh playing from 5:30 to 7:30pm. The music continues on Saturday with Brooke Mackintosh from 11am - 1pm, and Keith Carney from 1:30pm - 3:30pm.

Food trucks will be at the Showcase on Friday (4-8pm) and Saturday (11am- 5pm). We are excited to have Grow Food Truck, a 100% plant based food truck, lined up for Friday evening with other great local food trucks to join Friday and Saturday.

Bring a blanket, your family and friends, and enjoy some time outdoors supporting local artists in this gorgeous setting. The event is free to the public. The Red Barn is located at 4300 S.R. 32 in Oakley, right next to the rodeo grounds.
