The Park City Institute is hosting several interesting online events this month. Locals Live which is a series of streamed, state of the art, performances of local artists who are otherwise not able to work due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The series streams each Saturday night at 7:00 pm.

They are also curating and highlighting online events produced by some of their past productions through their Facebook page. Including National Geographic Live backstage. This event features weekly Facebook Live Q&A with some of National Geographic Live’s top speakers on their Facebook page. If you are interested in checking it out, you can join in every Wednesday at 1 pm ET/ 10 am PT with some of your favorite explorers.

The Park City Institute Executive Director, Ari Loannides, provides some insights, “The hard-working staff at the Park City Institute loves curating and presenting experiences that enhance our community. Recent events have forced us to suspend live productions, so we have worked hard to produce online experiences we believe are consistent with what our patrons have come to expect from the Institute. While we look forward to coming together live once it is safe to gather, we were pleased with the selection and quality of the online performances.”

Join us in supporting the arts in our community during these times of social distancing. We are grateful that the arts can continue to prosper and adapt to the changes for all to enjoy.
