Last Call For Summit Arts Showcase Applications

Summit Arts Showcase

Summit Arts Showcase is an annual juried summer art show in Oakley, UT. Being the only show of it’s kind on the Eastern side of the County, the PCSC Arts Council is excited to host the event.

The PCSC Arts Council produces the annual Summit Arts Showcase to support local artists and provide an opportunity for them to present their work on the eastern side of Summit County. Oakley's Red Barn, set against the Uinta mountain range, is a gorgeous setting to exhibit our local talent and for arts enthusiasts to come to grow their collections.

Hadley Dynak, Executive Director of the Park City Summit County Arts Council notes that “the Showcase is one of our longest running programs. It has a focus on visual art but brings in music, food, and artist demos into the event to create multiple interactive experiences for those who attend.”

The event is scheduled for Friday, July 13 from 4-8pm, and Saturday, July 14 from 10am - 5pm. Each day will be filled with artistic entertainment including musical performances and live art demonstrations in addition to the art showcase.

The deadline to apply for Summit Arts Showcase is Friday, May 11. Artists working in any visual art medium are encouraged to apply. Space is limited, and preference is given to applicants from Summit County.

To apply, fill out the artist application here and send 3 images (jpg or png) to admin@pcscarts.org by the deadline. Artists will be selected by a jury of local artists and art enthusiasts from Summit County. All applicants will be notified about the status of their application by June 1. If selected, the registration fee to participate in the event is $65.
