Sundance Film Festival’s Return to Park City

The 2023 Sundance Film Festival is making its return to Park City after two years of hosting the festival virtually. Taking place from January 19th through the 29th, screenings will be held all around Park City, Salt Lake City and the Sundance Resort. Park City’s Latino Arts Fest Returns Welcoming Latinx Artists to Participate

Now accepting artist applications for the annual Latino Arts Festival! The sixth annual Latino Arts Festival, taking place on June 20-26, 2022 at various locations throughout Park City, will showcase and celebrate Latin American traditions and heritage. The six-day event brings our community together to highlight the beauty and creativity of Hispanic and Latino culture through creative art forms including food, film, fine art, craft, live music and folkloric dance, offering opportunities for all people to connect and interact with one another through arts and culture.

Winter Arts Showcase

Experience unique artwork and handcrafted artisanal goods from local artists at the annual Winter Arts Showcase, produced by the Arts Council of Park CIty & Summit County, on Friday March 18th from 6-9pm and Saturday and Sunday March 19th & 20th form 11am-6pm at Utah Film Studios in Park City. This year’s Winter Arts Showcase features 20 Utah artist booths, selling their creative endeavors including paintings, photographs, jewelry, ceramics, fabric, textiles and sculpture. Some of the artists will also perform demonstrations over the two-day event to give people a glimpse into their creative process. And new this year, the Winter Arts Showcase will be presented in collaboration with the local nonprofit Voterize and their Art 4 Action fundraising event. Get Creative and Show Your Artwork at the Summit County Fair Fine Art Show Coming Up Aug 12-14, 2021

The annual Summit County Fair brings the community together for a week of food, fun, exhibits, demonstrations, contests, and rides. In addition to the demolition derby (always a locals favorite), the livestock showings, the 4H displays, parade, pie baking contest, and the little buckeroo rodeo, the Fair hosts the Fine Arts Show at the Ledges Event Center at the Coalville Fairgrounds which gives local artists the opportunity to share their creative work with the public. Admission to all Fair events is free and a full schedule of activities is available on the Fair website.

Monster Drawing Rally Returns with Rewired Look

One of Park City’s most beloved community events, the Monster Drawing Rally, has been postponed to the fall. But in an effort to support local artists and continue to inspire the community, organizers decided to host a similar virtual event on May 15th. Like the original Monster Draw, Monster Drawing Rally // Digital + Rewired will be a live art-making event that allows attendees to spy on the creative process. The ‘spying’ will take place via Zoom, while local artists create in their studios. Online attendees will still be able to purchase artwork for $50, and new this year, artists will have additional pieces available priced at their discretion.

Kimball Art Center and Park City Summit County Arts Council will once again team up to host this year’s fourth-annual Monster Drawing Rally, an event that allows artists to interact with spectators, collectors, and other local artists. Call for Artists // Winter Arts Showcase 2020

Applications are now open for Winter Arts Showcase, an artisanal market and art showcase featuring local artists and developed in partnership with the Park City Summit County Arts Council and the Park City Professional Artists Association (‘PCPAA’). The Showcase will take place President’s Day Weekend, February 15-16, at the Park City Community Church and will feature artwork and handcrafted artisanal goods for sale.
