Shop Local Art Online this February at the 2021 Virtual Winter Arts Showcase!
Even though our annual Winter Arts Showcase will look a little different this year, the Arts Council of Park City & Summit County is excited to announce the launch of our 2021 virtual version of the Showcase. This annual show typically takes place over Presidents’ weekend at the Park City Community Church, but this year, to prioritize the safety of our artists and our community, we decided to program virtually using our e-commerce art sales website createpc.org from Feb. 12-28, 2021 to feature the artwork and handcrafted artisanal goods of our local artists.
The Arts Council has once again partnered with the Park City Professional Artists Association to present the show. The Winter Arts Showcase is a unique opportunity for those near and far to support Utah artists and for arts enthusiasts to come and grow their collections. The two-week online event will feature local artists selling beautifully crafted artisanal goods and artwork. See a sampling of art and artists at www.pcscarts.org/winter-arts-showcase.
“The Arts Council is thrilled to continue our partnership with the Park City Professional Artists Association to present a COVID-friendly version of the Winter Arts Showcase this year. It's a priority for the Arts Council to provide avenues to support our local artists, which is why we moved forward with a new virtual model this year. While it won't have the same energy as being at an in-person art show, displaying artwork for sale online through our e-commerce platform createpc.org will make it easier than ever to discover local artists and buy their work.” said Jocelyn Scudder, Executive Director of the Arts Council.
The Winter Arts Showcase will feature 40 local artists, selling their creative endeavors including paintings, photographs, books, jewelry, ceramics, fabric, textiles and sculpture on our createpc.org online platform. Patrons can buy unique art directly from artists online and either pick up or have items shipped directly to them.
