Come for the Art, Stay for the Fun // Summit Arts Showcase 2018

Spend some time relaxing in the mountains at the annual Summit Arts Showcase this weekend on Friday, July 13 from 4-8pm and Saturday, July 14 from 10-5pm. Oakley’s Red Barn, set against the Uinta Mountains, is a gorgeous setting for artists to exhibit their work and for arts enthusiasts to come grow their collections.

Twenty-one artists invited by a peer-review jury will participate in the exhibit and sale. Their artwork ranges from contemporary to traditional and includes a variety of mediums from encaustic and watercolor to photography, ceramics, fiber arts and jewelry. Many of the artists will be doing demonstrations over the two-day event to share their creative process.

Participating artists include Adrianna Allegretti, Bill Silliman, Cheryl Livingston-Young, Carman Espinoza, Chikamu Arts, Denise Walz, Dori Pratt, Frances ReMillard, Fred Montague, Gabrielle Wolfe, Jan Perkins, Juanita Marshall, Judy Summer, Kathy Cartier, KGEK Design, Lael Holm, Leslie Moss, Mary Perry, Melanie Ferguson, Renee Mox Hall, and Richard Pick.
