Volunteer for the 2020 Sundance Film Festival

It’s that time of year again. Sundance Film Festival is recruiting for their 2020 Festival. Sundance Film Festival brings about 50,000 people to Park City, Salt Lake City and Sundance Resort each year, so it goes without saying, they need a lot of help! Sundance Film Festival would not run like a well-oiled machine without a legion of volunteers.

They rely on thousands of volunteers from around the world, but also many locals, who generously dedicate their time and commitment to the Sundance Film Festival. It can be hard work, with grueling hours, tough jobs, and freezing temperatures. However, there are a lot of perks too!  Volunteers get film vouchers, 1 for every 4 hours worked and often see films while working. They also get some awesome swag, including a cool jacket, but best of all they get to hobnob with people in the film industry and meet and make friends from all over the world.

Volunteering for the Sundance Film Festival is a one-of-a-kind experience that you won’t soon forget. Every year, more than 2,400 generous volunteers (most of whom return year after year) help make what the festival is today, a magical event to celebrate independent film.

Now’s your chance to get involved with the 2020 Sundance Film Festival. They are currently looking for volunteers to assist in all areas of the Festival—from managing theater entrances and shuttle stops to supporting special events. If you're ready for an unforgettable experience, apply to join the community of volunteer film enthusiasts this January on the Sundance.org website. Hurry, deadline to apply is the end of September!
